Obituary of Marcia Rister

Marcia Lorraine Rister (nee Galick) Age 68. Sunday, March 23, 2008 at Fairview Nursing Home. Born in Joliet, she was a lifelong resident. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. A devout Christian woman, she was a member of St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church, and attended St. Bernard Catholic Church. Survived by her husband, Elmer F. Rister; two daughters, Dawn (Eduardo) Martinez of Joliet and Cynthia Ishmael of Joliet; one son, Frank Rister of Peotone; seven grandchildren, Marcos Martinez, Stephanie LeeAnn (Seth) Wilda, Audry DeAnn (Ted) Zolecki-Noll, Crystal Faye Ishmael and Terah Lorraine Ishmael; Amber and Frank, Jr. Rister; one great-grandchild, Jamie Nicole Zolecki-Noll; one brother, Terrance Galick of Joliet; one sister, Judith Hannah of Joliet; sister-in-law, Shirley Galick of Texas; brother-in-law, James (Marge) Hannah of Joliet; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by her father, Steven Galick; and her mother, Viola Marie, nee Frost, (John) Williams; one brother, Richard; and one granddaughter, Patricia Martinez (1980).
