Obituary of Rosalie Roderick

Rosalie F. Roderick (nee Erickson) Age 66. At rest Sunday December 7, 2008 at her late residence. Born in Danville, IL on October 3, 1942 and a resident of Joliet since 1975. Former owner and operator of Rosalie's Roller Skate in Crest Hill for many years. Rosalie was a loving mother and friend, and will be dearly missed by those whose lives she touched. Preceded in death by her son, Chad (1962); parents, Walt and Dorothy Erickson; stepfather, Lyle Erickson. Survived by her daughter, Justine Turner; son, Jerry Wade Ehrhardt; two grandsons, Brant and Dustin; two great-grandsons; and sister, Dorothy Halbert. Rosalie's family is deeply grateful to the staff of Joliet Area Community Hospice for all their tremendous care and kindness. Funeral services for Rosalie F. Roderick will be Thursday December 11, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to the Church of St. Jude for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Danville, IL.
