Obituary of Mary Rossa

Rossa, Mary Ellen Age 47, of Plainfield, born March 25, 1965 in Norfolk, VA, passed away suddenly Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Mary Ellen was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister and grandmother, to whom her family meant everything. She was a fun loving person with the ability to make everyone laugh, and who was a joy to be around. She was also adventurous and outgoing. Mary Ellen was very generous and gave much more than she ever asked in return. Mary Ellen was formerly employed by Edward Hospital in the Same Day Surgery Department for many years, and most recently worked in providing home health care. Survived by her husband, Ray Rossa of Plainfield; one daughter, Rachel (Dominic) Liberatore of Plainfield; one son, Nicholas Rossa of Plainfield; one grandson, Brady Rossa and a grandchild due in September; her parents, Marvin and Mary (nee James) Boulware of Plainfield; one brother, David (Tammy) Boulware of Lockport; numerous nieces and nephews; and her loving dogs, Dusty and Kelsey. A Memorial visitation for Mary Ellen Rossa will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 15629 S. Rt. 59, Plainfield where a Memorial Mass will follow at 11:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Will County Humane Society or the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
