Obituary of Ernest Salazar

Ernest A. Salazar Age 48, of Wilmington, passed away at his home with his family at his side on Tuesday, August 5, 2008. Born in Joliet October 9, 1959 to Gilbert and the late Connie (Estrada) Salazar. He married Linda L. Stine on January 7, 1983, and they have lived in Wilmington since 1984. Retired from Commonwealth Edison after 25 years of service. He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Amy (Anthony) Pacchetti, Kristy (Ernie) Adams and Kelly (Joey) Izzi; loving son of Gilbert Salazar; proud grandpa of Peyten, Shelby and Ashlyn; Kollin and Keegan; and Austin; dear brother of Gilbert (Dora), Rosie (Jaime) Guajardo, Joe (Rita), Pete, David (Gracie), Richard, Mary Ann Dickey, and Daniel; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by his mother; his grandparents; and one niece, Connie Marie Salazar. Funeral Services for Ernest A. Salazar will be Monday, August 11, 2008 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
