Obituary of Janet Sampson

Janet S. Sampson "Jinny" (nee Troy) Age 66. At rest Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Provena Villa Franciscan, following a brief battle with cancer. Born in Newburgh, NY and a resident of Joliet since 1965. Formerly employed by Oak Valley School for many years. A diehard Cubs and Bears fan. Survived by three daughters, Patty Sampson of Aurora, Marylee (Clayton) Deeter of Joliet and Janet (Brian) Rande of Joliet; eight grandchildren, Emilee, Colin, Riley, Ismarie, and Ismene Deeter; Brenna, Quinn and Camden Rande; two sisters, Sharon Troy of El Paso, TX and Patrice Troy of Albuquerque, NM; one brother, Daniel (Cindy) Troy of Albuquerque, NY; and numerous nieces, nephews, dear friends and her beloved Katie Kitty. Preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Elizabeth; one daughter in infancy; and special friend, Marvin "Buzz" Burris. Funeral Services for Janet S. Sampson will be Monday, April 12, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Private family interment. Visitation Sunday 2-6 p.m. at: FRED C.
