Obituary of Jerome Santos

Jerome Anthony Santos Age 31, of Joliet, and formerly of Chicago and Melrose Park, passed away suddenly, Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center from respiratory failure. Born March 23, 1981 in Chicago, he was a graduate of the LaSalle Green Hills High School in Manilla, Philippines, and attended Triton College. He worked as a billing administrator for Joliet Oncology and Hematology Associates and was previously employed by Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Jerome was an amazing husband, a loving son, and a devoted brother. He loved music and will be greatly missed for his outstanding cooking. He was blessed with the friendship of many, due in part to his unselfish faithfulness to his friends. Surviving are his beloved wife of three weeks, Joanna A. (Nosal) Santos of Joliet; his mother, Leilani Dichoso of the Philippines; his sister, Melissa Dichoso of the Philippines; his wife's parents, Maria and Piotr Nosal of Bridgeview; the entire Nosal and Santos families; numerous nieces and nephews; his godchildren; and many friends. Funeral Services for Jerome Anthony Santos will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to the Church of St. Jude for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
