Obituary of Eileen Schauer

Eileen J. Schauer (nee Murphy) Age 89. Passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born in Chicago to the late James and Ellen Murphy. Retired after many years as a secretary for St. Anne's School in Hazel Crest. Alumnus of St. Sabina's School and Visitation High School in Chicago. Beloved wife of 67 years to Walter J. Schauer of Shorewood; loving mother of Susan (John) Joens, Patricia (William) Robinson, William, Michael (Donna), Dennis, and Terri (Daniel) Rourke; grandmother of 17; great-grandmother of 15. Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert (Norma Jean) Murphy; and sister, JoAnn (Robert) Nellis. Funeral Services for Eileen J. Schauer will be Monday, March 15, 2010 at 10:45 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Anne Catholic Church, Crest Hill for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
