Obituary of Timothy Schmitz

Timothy John Schmitz Age 53, of Joliet, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 15, 2011 at home. He was a 1972 graduate of St. Patrick Grade School and Joliet Central High School Class of 1976. He later attended Joliet Junior College. Tim worked for the Union School in Joliet in many capacities. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and was active in Pro-Life ministries. Surviving are his mother, Patricia (nee Reardon) Schmitz; his brothers and sisters, Sr. Raphael Schmitz O. Carm., Thomas Schmitz, Michael Schmitz, Patricia (Jeffrey) Lair, John Schmitz, Catherine (Dennis) Murphy, and Dennis (Diane) Schmitz; 17 nieces and nephews; and one great-niece. Preceded by his father, Anthony Schmitz; his brother, Anthony in infancy; and one niece, Sarah. Funeral services for Timothy Schmitz will be Thursday, May 19, 2011 at St. Patrick Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private. Visitation Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. at: FRED C.
