Obituary of Kevin Seagrave

Kevin Scott Seagrave Age 54. Passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, IL with his very devoted sister and co-guardian, Darlene and Ray Fagan at his side. He was a special needs child from spinal meningitis at age three months. Born August 3, 1955 in Belvidere, IL. Kevin loved music, his rocking chair, food, strolls and swinging outdoors as well as loving his family. Kevin lived in Lincoln, Howe and most recently Shapiro Developmental Centers. His family extends a big thank you to those who truly cared for and loved Kevin. Survived by his very loving parents, Byron and Charlene Seagrave of Middlebourne, WV; sisters and brothers, Mary Jean (Dave) Jans of PA, Sylvia (Bill) Persico of FL, Donna (John) Lee of IL, Byron Jr. (Fay) of WV, Darlene Elberts (Ray) Fagan of IL, Deborah (Roger) Barnhart, Kenneth (Lisa), Sherry (Donnie) Snyder, Sharon Brightwell, Ronald (Rhonda), and Elizabeth (Oscar) Smith all of WV; also survived by his very special friend, Phyllis Wood; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Riverside Medical Center, where during his brief stay received excellent care from everyone. Kevin touched the lives of all he knew and taught us so much about love. You are now our special angel. We love you. A private service will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at a later date. Memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated. Arrangements by: FRED C.
