Obituary of George Seamon

George A. Seamon Age 67, of Joliet and formerly of Darien and Chicago, IL, passed away Monday, November 30, 2009. Born in Chicago, IL to the late George P. and Mable (Skobis) Seamon. He was the Proprietor and former CEO of Seagon Inc. of Lisle, IL. Beloved husband of 41 years to Elaine F. (Muth) Seamon; loving father of George J. (fiancee Laura Reynolds) Seamon and Joy (Brian) Lewandowski; dear grandfather of Joie Olivia Bettenhausen, Isabelle T. Seamon, Andrew M. Seamon and Ryan York; fond brother of Pat (late Ed) Schwinn, Margaret (late Bob) Sullivan and Antoinette Huber. Many nieces and nephews also survive. George will fondly be remembered as a wonderful husband and father who possessed a magnificent wit. He loved to fish and dance. The Seamon family will always remember Westlake Hospital Cardiac Unit and ICU for their compassion and excellent care. Funeral Services for George A. Seamon will be Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to the Church of St. Jude, 2212 McDonough St., Joliet, for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
