Obituary of Vida Selinger

Selinger, Vida L. (nee Tonelli) Age 92. Passed away peacefully Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Provena Villa Franciscan. Surviving are one son, Robert (Brenda) Selinger; one daughter, Peggy (Robert) Bell; seven grandchildren, Richard J. Selinger, William Selinger, Melissa (Thomas) Ryan, James (Jeannette) Selinger, Erin, Robert, and Laura Bell; six great-grandchildren, Brittany and Brandon Selinger, Matthew and Zachary Ryan, Luke and Katie Selinger; one brother, Ted (Rose) Tonelli. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Selinger; one son, Richard J. Selinger; her parents, Atillio and Perina Tonelli; five brothers, Alfred Ernie, George, Charles and Art Tonelli; two sisters, Mary Tonelli, and Alma Tonelli Korst. Grandma Vida loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was a wonderful mother. The Selinger Family will always be grateful to the Damiano unit at Villa Franciscan, and Provena Hospice for their for the compassionate care and kindness. Funeral Services for Vida L. Selinger will be Monday, May 23, 2011 at 9:45 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, Plainfield for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
