Obituary of Joan Shay

Joan N. Shay Age 71. Peacefully Sunday September 23, 2007 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Chicago and a Morris Resident since 1962. A graduate of LaGrange High School in 1953. Joan always enjoyed a good bridge game with friends. Preceded by her daughter Holly Jill Shay. Her parents Paul and Josephine Norris, one brother Paul Norris. Survived by her husband Dennis Shay, one son Steven (Margaret) Shay both of Morris, one daughter Sandy (Gerald) Loucks of Percy,IL., one brother Jim (Grace) Norris of Texas. Numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren also survive. Private funeral services for Joan Shay were held. As it was her request cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice or Grundy County Hospice in her name would be appreciated. Inurnment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
