Obituary of Robert Shinker JR

Robert W. Shinker, Jr. "Bobby" Age 28. Passed away suddenly Wednesday, March 17, 2010. Born in Joliet, he was a lifetime area resident. Graduate of Plainfield High School. He also received a certificate in auto body repair. Beloved son of Robert W. Shinker and Charmain Shinker (John Aimaro); also survived by paternal grandparents, Anna P. Caldron and Wesley (Rosemary) Shinker; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his lifelong friend and "brother", Nathan Burt also survive. Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Glen and Vera Erickson. Bobby enjoyed life to the fullest, he was loved by many friends and was devoted to all. Although his life was cut short, he will live in our hearts forever. He was known for his hat collection, and his participation in demolition derbies. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Cremation Rites will follow services. Visitation Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. at: FRED C.
