Obituary of Matthew Sicinski

Matthew Anthony Sicinski Age 38. Beloved husband of Julia Walch and loving father of Mei-Lin Sicinski died suddenly at his home in Skokie, IL on December 31, 2010. Matt was born on November 9, 1972 in Joliet, IL. He attended Troy Grammar School, Joliet Catholic High School and the University of Illinois. He is also survived by his parents Karl and Carol (Schranz) of Joliet; his sister, Elizabeth Sicinski of CA; brothers, Stephen (Angela) Sicinski of Bloomington, IL, Gregory Sicinski of Rockdale, IL; mother-in-law, Barbara LaForge of Oak Park; neice, Cameron Sicinski and nephews, Zachary and Aedan Flores; Aunt, Nancy Schranz; Uncles, Ray (Mary) Sicinski, Bob (Mary) Schranz, Bob Plasczewski, Stan Rycyzyn and James Schranz; many cousins also survive. Preceded by his maternal and paternal grandparents; aunts, Elaine Schranz, Dorothy Rycyzyn, Betty Plasczewski and Norma Schranz; uncle, William Schranz. Matt was a warm and caring person who enjoyed working on cars with his father and brothers, scuba diving with friends and caring for his many pets. A kind and gentle soul and will be greatly missed by all. Funeral Services for Matthew Sicinski will be Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon. Interment St. Mary Nativity Cemetery. Memorials in his name to his daughter's education fund that will be established at a later date or Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
