Obituary of Robin Bisgrove

Bisgrove, Robin Renee (nee Thompson) Age 42. Peacefully, Wednesday June 1, 2011 at her late residence with her family by her side, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Joliet and a lifelong Joliet/New Lenox resident. Graduate of Lincolnway Central High School, Class of 1986. Employed as a barber with the Barber's Chair of New Lenox. Robin lit up the room the minute she walked in; she had a unique glow to her. She had a big heart, and loved animals and nature. Robin was an avid music lover. Her beautiful smile will be forever missed. Survived by her two daughters, Whitney and Taylor Bisgrove both of Joliet; her grandson, Isaiah; her mother, Carol Spencer of New Lenox; her sister, Shannon (Michael) Lashmet of Mokena; her niece, Sydney Lashmet; former husband, Jeff Bisgrove of Florida and dear friend, Scott Spisak of Crest Hill. Preceded by her father, Gregory Thompson and her maternal grandparents, Donald and Ella Seitz. As it was Robin's request, cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at: FRED C.
