Carol also volunteered at the Rialto Theatre in Joliet, a member of the volunteer board and helped form the "Dessert Club" offering Bailey's infused coffee and desserts to theatre goers aiding in fund raising for the "Jewel of Joliet". Carol called it as she saw it; no pretenses; we will remember a woman who enjoyed her family and friends as well as NASCAR. Family would like to thank her many friends who visited her and caretakers, especially her best friend, Noreen Berg, for the loving care they provided during her final months. Celebration of Carol's life will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Joliet Moose Lodge, 25 N. Springfield Avenue from 10:00 a.m. until the prayer service at 11:30 a.m. conducted by the College of Regents. Interment will take place at Barnett Cemetery in Lockport at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to her family would be appreciated. Arrangements by: FRED C. DAMES FUNERAL HOME 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet For information (815) 741-5500
