Obituary of Charles Sowers

Charles H. Sowers "Harvey" Age 72. At rest Saturday, December 29, 2007 at his late residence. Born in Port Arthur, TX and a lifelong Lockport area resident. A graduate of DePauw University in Greencastle, IN and Lockport Township High School. Retired from Argonne National Laboratory as an engineering specialist after over 41 years of service. Charles was an avid amateur hamm radio operator. Preceded in death by his mother, Fern Elizabeth Sowers and his father, Byron L. Sowers. Survived by his step-mother, Beverly Sowers of Necedah, WI; two brothers, Byron L. Sowers Jr. of Memphis, TN and Francis Sowers of Mauston, WI; one sister, Roseanne (Rick) Mills of Lodi, WI; dear uncle of Michael, Sarah and Rebecca Mills. Funeral services for Harvey Sowers will be Monday December 31, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Entombment Wednesday January 2, 2008 at Memory Hill Gardens Mausoluem in Bartlett, TN.
