Obituary of Leonard Stacy

Leonard P. Stacy Leonard P. Stacy age 74. Passed away suddenly at his home, Monday, June 20, 2011. Born in Chicago, IL, December 20, 1937 to the late John and Helen (nee Komlenich) Stacy. He was a long time resident of Chicago, IL moving to Crest Hill, IL to be near his family. Len was a valued employee of the Milwaukee Road and was retired. He enjoyed the "great outdoors" and could often be found at the local lake fishing. He liked to bicycle, travel and camp. He was an avid reader, photographer and White Sox fan. Len is preceded in death by his daughter Susan Marie Stacy. Survived by his devoted son Timothy E. (Anna) Stacy, Joliet, IL; his two sisters Joanne (Robert) Smitka, St. Charles, IL., Joyce (Fred) Thomas, Charlotte, NC, ; former wife, Delores Fletcher, Oceanside, CA. Loving grandfather to Timothy James (T. J.) Stacy, Joliet, IL and Cynthia Lynn Susan Stacy, Joliet, IL; many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews and one great nephew, special Uncle to Ellen (Chad) Roberts, Clarkdale, AZ and James (Carla) Dahlberg, Chicago, IL; close friend and fishing buddy, Tom Carras (T.C.), Elk Grove, IL. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 9, 2011, 11:00 A.M. at St. Ann Church, 24500 South Navajo Drive, Channahon, IL 60410. Family will greet friends and relatives at 10:30 A.M. at St. Ann Church. Interment of cremains will be private.
