Obituary of Martha Staley

Martha Colleen Staley "Coke" (nee Lemley) Age 81. Went home to join her daughter, Candace, on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at the Loyalton of Joliet. Born in Kalona, IA on August 30, 1928. Graduated Davenport, IA High School in 1946. Retired from Hines V.A. Hospital as a pharmacy apprentice. Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of Belmont Little League and Ingalls Park Pony League. Member of the Women's J.B.A. 600 Club. Martha loved to crochet and play euchre. Surviving are her beloved husband, Thomas E. Staley; one son, Michael B. (Karla Wojcik) Staley; five grandchildren, Carrie (Corey) Hromek, Lauren (Eddie) Ferry, Vanessa (Mark) Schmitt, Joshua and Andrew Mancuso; great-grandchildren, Mia Hromek, Matthew Ferry and Max Schmitt; and son-in-law, Sam Mancuso. Preceded in death by one daughter, Candace Mancuso (1990); and her parents. Funeral Services for Martha C. Staley will be Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Deacon Ed Petak officiating. Private interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
