Obituary of Sandra Stanford

Sandra J. Stanford (Wencel) (nee Carlson) Age 71. Passed away peacefully Monday, August 3, 2009 at the home of her daughter, with her family by her side. Born in Chicago, she was a Joliet resident for the past 15 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Survived by three daughters, Cathy (Michael) Biliskov of Brighton, MI, Donna (Eric) Meyer of Champaign, IL and Tracey (Jesse) Rosas of Joliet; eight grandchildren, Michael Jr., Bradley and Jeffrey; Zachary and Macklin; Brittany, Marissa and Jenna. Preceded in death by her husband, Samuel "Sam" Stanford (May 9, 2009). Funeral Services for Sandra J. Stanford will be Friday, August 7, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. As it was Sandra's request, Cremation Rites will be accorded following funeral services. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Vitas Hospice would be appreciated.
