Obituary of Jean Steffen

Jean A. Steffen (nee Bertolotti) Age 87, of Joliet, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Rosewood Care Center. Born January 7, 1923 in Joliet, she was the daughter of William Joseph and Florence (nee Gauldoni) Bertolotti. Jean retired from Union National Bank as manager of bookkeeping with over 20 years of service. As a memorial to our mother, please enjoy a meal with your family. It was those times that Jean most cherished. Survived by her two sons, John (Bonnie) Steffen, and Michael (Cindy) Steffen; seven grandchildren, Kyle Steffen, Dana (Rik) Steffen-Arndt, Mathew Steffen, James (Pam) Steffen, Joseph Steffen, Alexis Steffen, and Jacob Steffen; three great-grandchildren, Kameron and Ashton Arndt; and Andrew Steffen; one sister, Rita (late James) Kaminskas; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her husband, James F. Steffen (1989); her parents, and one brother, Richard (Pauline) Bertolotti. Funeral Services for Jean A. Steffen will be Friday, September 17, 2010 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to Holy Cross Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
