Obituary of Deborah Stern

Deborah L. Stern (nee Abate) Age 55. At rest Friday, June 12, 2009 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Born in Joliet, she was a lifelong area resident. Graduate of St. Francis Academy Class of 1971. Employed by National Tube Supply, and formerly employed by Marmon Keystone Corporation. Member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Survived by her children, Gregory Stern and Stephanie (Tizoc) Landeros both of Joliet; three grandchildren, Tyler, Isabella and Tizoc; her mother, Lea Anne Abate of Joliet; siblings, Sandy Whitgrove, Peter (Dee) Abate, Marijo (Tony) Persico and Marcie Abate; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her father, Alfred Abate. Funeral Services for Deborah C. Stern will be Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Patrick Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. John Cemetery.
