Obituary of Edward Stone

Edward Stone Age 87. Passed away Monday, December 17, 2007 at Adventist Glenoaks Hospital in Glendale Heights with his family by his side. A decorated World War II U.S. Army Veteran, he served during the Invasion of Normandy. Preceded by his parents, one brother and one sister. Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Aurelia (nee Mikuta) Stone; one son, Richard (Marianne) Stone, both of Plainfield; one granddaughter, Dianna (Keith) Gnat of Shorewood; one grandson, Jason Stone of Plainfield; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Edward Stone will be Thursday, December 20, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet. Lorraine Patton officiating.
