Obituary of Florence Stritzel

Stritzel, Florence L. (nee Jadrnak) Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Loyalton of Joliet on Thursday, July 14, 2011. Born in Joliet to the late Joseph and Mary Jadrnak, she was a lifelong resident. Graduate of Joliet Township High School. Retired from the College of St. Francis following 25 years of service. Member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Surviving are her two children, David (Kathy) Stritzel of Plainfield and Cheryl (Patrick) Sheppard of Joliet; dear grandmother of Sara and Lee Stritzel; one sister, Mary (late Victor) Senffner of Joliet; several nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her husband, Albert G. Stritzel (2005); her parents; two brothers, Joseph and Thomas Jadrnak. Funeral Services for Florence L. Stritzel will be Monday, July 18, 2011 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery.
