Obituary of Louis Sukle SR

Louis R. Sukle, Sr. "Bob" Age 72, was called home to the Lord on Friday, May 11, 2012. Born in Joliet to the late Louis and Katherine (nee Hray) Sukle, he was a lifelong Joliet/New Lenox resident. Survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Marilyn J. (nee Delaney) Sukle; two children, Rob (Misti) Sukle and Jodi (Andrew) Oliver; four grandchildren, Sebastian Frank, Lauren Sukle, Jordan Krsanac and Noah Oliver; two brothers, James (Joan) and Tom (Michelle) Sukle; one sister, Patricia Sukle; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Nancy Schranz. A U.S. Air Force veteran, he attended Joliet Township High School and Joliet Junior College. Bob retired from ComEd after many years of service. Former President and Treasurer of the Seniors Club of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #300, where he enjoyed playing cards and socializing. Funeral Services for Louis R. Sukle will be Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
