Obituary of Stanley Suma

Suma, Stanley J. "Jim" Age 80. At rest Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born in Chicago, formerly of Darien for over 30 years, residing in Shorewood the past 18 years. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Retired in 1987 from General Motors, LaGrange, IL. An avid fisherman, he loved to travel and work in his yard. Surviving are his loving wife, Barbara Fink-Suma of Shorewood; five daughters, Donna Suma of Plainfield, Linda Springer of Plainfield, Nancy (Steve) Hill of Elmhurst, Judy Rausch-Suma of Plainfield, and Kim (Timothy) Pollowy of Aurora; seven grandchildren, Bradley, Kelsey, John, Jeremy, Caylee, Cassandra, and Kendyl; his former wife, Joane Suma of Plainfield; two stepchildren, Stephen (Diane) Fink of North Dakota, and Susan (Bruce) Schumacher of West Chicago; five step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service for Jim Suma will be held on Friday, December 10, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Please omit flowers.
