Obituary of Raymond Susner

Raymond J. Susner Age 81. Died peacefully on Friday, November 20, 2009 at Silver Cross Hospital. Born March 20, 1928 in Crest Hill to the late Chris and Ann (Tomac) Susner, he was a lifetime resident and member of St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church. A veteran of the US Army serving in Korea, he retired from U. S. Steel. Survived by his brothers, Robert (Genevieve) and Jack (Phyllis) Susner; numerous nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, Jessie. Preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Bernard (late Barbara), Richard (Virginia), and Donald; and two nieces, Jennifer Susner and Jan Susner Caponi. Funeral Services for Raymond J. Susner will be Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Mary Nativity Cemetery.
