Obituary of Fred Tagliere
Fred J. Tagliere, III
Age 49, of Plainfield, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center surrounded by his loving family following a four and one-half year battle with cancer.
Born October 10, 1958 in Chicago, he was the owner of T&T Installations.
Fred was a devoted husband, father and "Pa", and served as an excellent role model and example of his motto "PDQ" which stood for Pa Doesn't Quit. He was one of a kind and had a will to succeed and survive which came from being highly self motivated, driven, and unselfish. Fred also enjoyed all sports but especially loved his Chicago Cubs and coaching his children's baseball teams.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Shirley A. (nee Pikul) Tagliere of Plainfield; his children, Melanie Tagliere of Crest Hill, Michael (Tabbatha) Tagliere of Joliet, and Nicholas Tagliere of Plainfield; three grandchildren, Madison, Alyssa and Ruben III; one sister, René Porter of Chicago; one half-brother, Michael Berman of Texas; his wife's parents, Stan and Geraldine Pikul of Arizona; and many great friends and fantastic neighbors.
He was preceded by his parents, Lee (nee Reamer) Rago and Al Buccierri.
Funeral services for Fred Tagliere will be Monday, March 3, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, Plainfield, for Mass at 12:00 p.m. Interment St. Mary Immaculate Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, 2-8 p.m. at:
