Obituary of Betty Theobald

Theobald, Betty L. (nee Hubrich) Age 71. At rest Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at her daughters residence in Kankakee. Born March 30, 1938 in Greentown, MO and a lifetime Joliet and Plainfield area resident. Employed in the cafeteria as a supervisor at the Plainfield High School system since 1976 retiring in 1994. A volunteer with the girl and boy scouts and a lifetime PTA member with the Plainfield schools. Beloved mother of, Donald (Ellen) of Plainfield, Daniel (Robin) of Plainfield and Deborah (Michael) Henson of Kankakee. Grandmother of Tim (Jennifer) Theobald, Aimee (Mike) Baist and Amber Theobald; Danielle and Zachary Theobald; Josh (Stephanie), Trishelle and Michelle Henson. Great-grandchildren, Riley, Reese, Lilly, Skylar, Stana, Dylan, Matthew and Gavin. One sister, Lacretia (the late William) Michael of LaSalle. Two brothers, Donald (late, Beverly) Hubrich of New Lenox and James (Chi) Hubrich of Leesville, LA. Nieces and nephews also survive Preceded in death by her husband Martin (June 15, 1994); parents, Herman and Esther Hubrich; her brother, Kenneth Hubrich; in-laws, Joe and Margueritte Theobald. Prayer services will be Monday, July 6, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorial to Hospice of the Kankakee Valley would be appreciated.
