Ward T. Tullis
Age 95. At rest Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Silver Cross Hospital. Born in Ancona, IL. Retired from Bill Jacobs Chevrolet after 25 years of service. He worked part-time as a security guard for the Will County Health Department. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #382 and the Lockport Moose Lodge #1557. He loved ice fishing and gardening.
Preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Mildred (nee Moore); parents, two brothers, two sisters; and one great-grandchild.
Survived by two daughters, Donna Scalpelli of Joliet and Elaine Bruno of Columbia, MO; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a niece, Regina (Tom) Wilhelmi.
Services will be Thursday, October 29, 2009 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 127 S. Briggs Street, Joliet where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. As it was Ward's final request, Cremation Rites have been accorded. Private entombment Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church Building Fund would be appreciated. Family and friends may call THURSDAY MORNING at the church from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00. Arrangements by:
