Obituary of Virginia Voegerl

Virginia A. Voegerl (Vance) Age 88, of Minooka, IL and formerly of Morris and Lansing, IL., passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Morris Hospital. She was born in New Castle, Indiana to the late Leo and Neola (Praim) Vance and raised in the Lafayette, IN. area, graduating with the class of 1942 from Jefferson High School. Virginia was a member of the Coal City Seniors. She was the beloved mother of Jeanette (Jerry) Cobb of St. Anne, IL and Patricia (David) Welsh of Minooka, IL. Loving grandmother of David (Ann Marie) Cobb, Andrea Welsh (Dennis Phillips), Amanda (Isen) Veljic and Deidre (Chad) Sandeno. Dear great grandmother of Ayla Veljic; Jacob and Hunter Esposito and Ella Sandeno. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, John G. Voegerl, Jr., her parents and siblings. Private funeral services for Virginia A. Voegerl were held at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, Morris, IL. Interment followed at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the American Heart Association would be appreciated. FRED C.
