Vonachen, Jean M. (nee Gorenz) Age 86. At rest November 28, 2012 at Presence St. Joseph Hospital. Born March 6, 1926 in Peoria, IL to Leo Sr. and Elsie Gorenz. Member of King's Daughters and Grace United Methodist Church and volunteer at Silver Cross Hospital. Survived by her two sons, Frank (Lori) Vonachen and Alan (Sharon) Vonachen; grandmother of Matthew, Alison, Tim, Cory and Paige; sister, Marianne Roszell; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded by her husband, Robert Vonachen (1977); son, Gary Vonachen and brother, Leo Gorenz Jr. Family and friends will gather on Friday, November 30, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 1750 Avalon Avenue, Joliet. Inurnment Saturday, December 1, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Swan Lake Memorial Park, 4601 W. War Memorial Drive, Peoria, IL 61615.
