Obituary of Edward Walsh

Walsh, Edward L. Age 78, of Joliet, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 22, 2012. Edward was born in Joliet on November 16, 1934 and was a lifelong resident. He was a graduate of St. Raymond Grade School, and Joliet Catholic High School. He continued his education and received an associates degree from Joliet Junior College. Parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. Member of the Knights of Columbus Council #367. A United States Army veteran of the Korean War. Edward enjoyed carpentry and music. He played the piano and delighted listeners. Surviving are his niece, Lois (Mark) Babich; nephews, Michael (Carrie) Baron and Patrick (Cheryl) Baron; and several great-nieces and great-nephews including Joseph, Michael and Bridget Babich. Preceded by his parents, Edward J. Walsh and Lucille (nee Murphy) Walsh; one sister, Lois A. Walsh; and a nephew, Timothy Baron. Funeral Services for Edward L. Walsh will be Monday, November 26, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to Holy Family Catholic Church, Shorewood where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Mt.
