Obituary of Terry Weissenhofer

Terry J. Weissenhofer Age 64. Peacefully Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with his family by his side. Born in Berwyn, IL, raised on the south side of Chicago, relocating to Crest Hill in 2006. A longtime employee of the Aon Corporation as an account executive. Preceded by his parents, Edward and Violet (Nee Masek) Weissenhofer. Survived by his loving wife and best friend, Karen (Nee Scheff) Weissenhofer of Crest Hill; devoted father of Kurt (Pam) Weissenhofer of Orland Park, Jill (Jerome) Gazdziak of Orland Park and Lisa (Jay) White of Downers Grove; beloved stepfather of Cheryl (Robert) Kuchay of Chicago, Robert Pavlow of Monee and Eric Gjerde of Sebree, KY; 13 grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren; two sisters, Lois (Richard) Finger of Palos Heights and Marilyn (late Gene) Treasure of Joliet; one brother, Ronald (Glenda) Weissenhofer of Crest Hill; numerous neices, nephews and cousins also survive. Terry J. Weissenhofer will lie in State Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shephard, 7600 McCarthy Rd. in Palos Heights from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. Rev. Dr. Wayne Basch officiating. As it is Terry's request, cremation rites will be accorded following funeral services.
