Obituary of Marjorie Winters

Marjorie L. Winters (nee Davis) Age 79, of Morris, and formerly of Dana, IL, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Morris Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center with her loving daughter by her side. Born January 15, 1933 in Magnolia, IL, to the late Floyd and Opal (nee Mouser) Davis. A graduate of Toluca High School, Marjorie married Don Winters on March 14, 1952 and together they farmed in the Dana area where Don was also a highway commissioner. He preceded her in death in 1999. She will fondly be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who possessed a strong work ethic and in her free time, enjoyed arranging flowers. Survived by her children; Dale Scott (Lucie) of Alabama, Randy of Dana, IL, Larry of Indiana, Kevin of South Carolina and Debbie of Morris. One sister; Linda Weers of Arizona and one grandson. Services for Marjorie will be held Friday, November 9, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Dana Cemetery.
