Obituary of Delores Woods

Delores Ruth Woods "Lolo" nee Harris Age 70. of Morris, IL., passed away peacefully, Monday August 2, 2010 at her home. Born October 8, 1939 to the late William Clifford and Esther Elizabeth (nee McCall) Harris in Galesville, IL., she was raised there and graduated from Mansfield Community High School. She married Samuel L. Woods on September 2, 1961 in Monticello, IL. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three brothers, Dale (Sandy) Harris of Morris, Larry (Sue) Harris of Bement, IL and Lin "Bear" (Carol) Harris of Henderson, N.C.; two sisters, Sharon (David) Newland of Morris and Marilyn (Brad) Barry of Morris. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bill (late Wanda) Harris and Gary Harris in infancy. Delores retired form Humiston-Keeling Inc. after 20 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed embroidery, word search, crossword puzzles and her church, Living Water Church of the Nazarene. Funeral services for Delores Woods will be held on Friday, August 6, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Steven Cook officiating. Interment Sample Cemetery.
