Obituary of Helene Woroszylo

Helene Woroszylo Age 91. Late of Morris, died Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Walnut Grove Nursing Home. Born in Chicago February 8, 1920 to the late Joseph and Anna (nee Rimkus) Mordis, she was a lifelong Chicago resident until moving to Morris in 2006. A long time parishioner of St. Turibius Parish in Chicago where she was a Pastoral Care Minister; and also a member of the Daughters of Isabella. Helene was a 35 years employee of Western Electric. Beloved wife of the late Edward; loving mother of Veronica (William) Wippo of Morris and the late Rose Marie (Peter) Besch of Athens, IL; dear grandmother of Karyn (Frank) Carajohn, Eric (Mary Margaret) Wippo, Burton (Susan) Podczerwinski and John Besch; proud great-grandmother of Candice, William, Kendall and Natalie Carajohn; Oliver and Maggie Wippo; Olivia, Ava and Ethan Podczerwinski. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held Tuesday February 15, 2011, from 9:00 a.m. until prayers at 10:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W. Rt. 6 (Bedford Rd.) in Morris, IL. Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment St. Casimir Cemetery, Chicago, IL. For information: (815) 942-5040
