Henry N. Bourg
"Hank"
Age 77. Peacefully Tuesday, March 23, 2010 surrounded by his loving family, at RML Specialty Hospital in Hinsdale, IL following complications arising from surgery. A lifelong Joliet resident. Graduate of Joliet Junior College and Joliet Catholic High School. He honorably served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Retired from Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America after over 40 years of service. His greatest loves in life were his family, friends, and a good game of golf.
Preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Julia Bourg.
Beloved husband and best friend of Virginia Bourg, nee Lynch. Devoted father of Thomas (Donna), James (Peggy), Robert (Kimberly), Michael (Joanne), Stephen (Jennifer), Julia (Joe) Reilly, Margaret (Darren) VanDover and Daniel. Proud grandfather of Jenny (Jeff) Govoni, Tom (Grace), Tiffany, Brad Bourg, Mandy (Nick) Hall; Jordan, Claire, Caroline, Chris, Katie, Nick, Joshua, Rebekah, Sophie, Stephanie, Esther, Abigail, David Bourg, Joe, Nolan, Sarah and Brielle Reilly and Brevin VanDover. Great-grandfather of Madison Govoni. Dear brother of Mary Lou (late Joseph) Kozar. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services for Henry N. Bourg will be Monday, March 29, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home to the Church of St. Jude for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Memorials to the American Heart Association in his name would be appreciated. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery where full military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U. S. Marine Corps. Visitation Sunday 2-7 p.m. at:
