Age 92. Went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 25, 2007 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.
She was born February 21, 1915 at home on the family homestead in Vermillion, Alberta, Canada. An excellent cook, she owned several restaurants in the Joliet area.
Maxine was a hard worker both at home and work, and was a free and independent spirit who lived out her convictions. She was a loyal, honest, and trusting person who believed everyone was good.
The sacrifices she made for her family, and how much she loved and cared for them, will never be forgotten.
Surviving are three daughters, Evelyn Joy Stahl of Janesville, WI, Mary Ellen Yanchick and Caryl Lynn Padilla, both of Joliet; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law, Kathleen Yanchick and Margaret Yanchick; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded by her husband, Rudolph "Rudy" Yanchick; two sons, Dennis Jon Yanchick and David Allen Yanchick; two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services for Mable M. Yanchick will be Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Joliet First Church of the Nazarene, 1009 S. Briggs Street, Joliet. Interment will be in Elmhurst Cemetery. Visitation TUESDAY from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the church. Arrangements by:
