Obituary of Walter Zentarski
Walter J. Zentarski
Age 69, died suddenly Sunday, July 11, 2010.
Born in Joliet April 28, 1941 to the late Anthony and Mary Ann (nee Roder) Zentarski, he was a lifetime resident.
Survived by his sister and brothers, Ann (Neil) Janssen, Tom Zentarski and Art (late Barbara) Zentarski; brother-in-law Richard Roderick. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents and one sister Maureen Roderick.
Walter, a U.S. Army Veteran, served in Germany during Vietnam. He retired from BASF as a Supervisor and was previously employed by GAF Ruberoid. He was an avid bowler, and when he was younger he enjoyed playing softball.
Funeral services for Walter Zentarski will be held Thursday July 15, 2010, 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
