Obituary of William Heathcoat

Heathcoat, William E. Jr. "Edward" Age 86, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012 in Arizona. Born in Kansas City, MO, residing in Channahon since 1959, moving to Elwood in 1970, and a resident of Arizona since 2005. He was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran stationed in Germany. Formerly employed by Western Union Telegraph Company following 45 years of service. An avid traveler, he was a member of American Legion Post #1080. Survived his daughter, Diana (Donald) Edgerly of Phoenix, AZ; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Frances M. (nee Lantz) Heathcoat. Funeral Services for William E. Heathcoat Jr. will be Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL where full Military Honors will be accorded.
