Obituary of Edwin Meyer

Meyer, Edwin J. "Ed" Age 63. Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born February 13, 1949 in Joliet, he was a graduate of Joliet East High School, and a member of United Singles of Joliet. He was owner/operator of Meyer Electric for many years. He will be missed by his family and friends with whom he shared many good times. He was always a help to everyone. Preceded in death by his parents, Clarence (2000) and Margaret J. (nee Steffes) Meyer (2011); and one brother, Charles J. Meyer (1994). Survived by his sisters, Linda (Jim) Ruhl of New Lenox, and Cynthia (Frank) Brandeis of Greer, SC; two brothers, Lawrence (Donna) Meyer of Mazon, and Raymond (Rose) Meyer of Coal City; and numerous nieces, nephews, five aunts, and many cousins. Funeral Services for Edwin J. Meyer will be Monday, December 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment St. John Cemetery.
