Spanidis, Ann "Yia Yia" (nee Santorineos) Age 90. At rest Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Salem Village. Born in Greece, emigrating to the U.S. on April 18, 1967, and living in Joliet since 1973. Member of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church. Anna loved to cook and bake. Surviving are three children, Tina (Tony) Xydakis of Shorewood, Flora (late John) Ulrich of Joliet and John (Pam) Spanidis of Shorewood; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Gust Spanidis (2002); her parents, Dimitrios and Despina Santorineos; one sister, Margarita Abla; and one brother, Nick Santorineos. Funeral Services for Ann Spanidis will be Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home to All Saints Greek Orthodox Church for services at 9:30 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
