Obituary of Norma Chamberlain

Chamberlain, Norma M. (Trevena) (nee Lee) Age 95, and a lifetime Joliet resident, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Highland Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Highwood, IL with her family by her side. Born January 15, 1918 she was the daughter of Essie (nee Dickerman) and Robert C. Lee. Norma's father died suddenly shortly after she was born, and her mother later remarried Frank Robesson, and together they raised Norma. A member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter for over 50 years. A member of Cantigny Post # 367 Ladies Auxilliary. Formerly very active in the Joliet Grade School Band Parents organization. Survived by her daughter Nancy (Michael) Carder; four grandchildren Thomas (Allison) McGowan, David McGowan, Jr., Thomas M. Trevena III and Tristen Trevena; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lorraine "Mickey" (Robert) Draznik and Frances (late Walter) Mitok; and nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas M. Trevena Sr.; her second husband, Paul Chamberlain; one son, Thomas M. Trevena, Jr.; and her parents. Funeral services for Norma M. Trevena Chamberlain will be Friday January 18, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home chapel . Interment Elmhurst Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4-8 p.m. at: Fred C.
