Obituary of Terry Wetmore

Wetmore, Terry L. Age 64. Passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Salem Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Home with his family by his side after a courageous, 15-year battle with cancer. Born July 26, 1948 to the late Terrence and Geraldine (nee Reynolds) Wetmore. Born and raised in Kankakee until he moved to Joliet and proudly served as a United States Marine during the Vietnam War. Survived by his loving wife, Mary Bebar; children, Victoria (Kevin) Lepacek, Danielle Wetmore, Sue Withaft, Tammy Martin and Theresa Schultz; proud grandpa of Jonathan Lepacek; his sister, Jerry (Greg) Kirby; brothers-in-law, William (Jacqueline) Bebar, Dan (Mary) Bebar, Georgiann (late John) Bebar, Gary (Judith) Bebar and Fred Bebar; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends also survive. Terry was an avid sports fan who truly loved the Chicago Bears and White Sox. He was a member of the Local Moose Lodge #300. Terry was a loving husband, father and grandfather and he will truly be missed by all. The family would like to thank the staff at Salem Village and Passages Hospice whom helped care for Terry during this difficult time. Funeral Services for Terry L. Wetmore will be Sunday afternoon, January 20, 2013 at 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. As it was Terry's request, Cremation Rites have been accorded. Memorials to his surviving family in his memory would be appreciated. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery will be at a later date.
