Obituary of Tara Calcaterra

Tara K. Calcaterra (nee Cavender) Age 57. Suddenly passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 1:24 p.m. at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center, Joliet, IL with her family by her side. Born in Charleston, West Virginia, she was a resident of Princeton, West Virginia prior to relocating to the Posen, IL area in the early 1970's. She is preceded in death by her loving mother, Joann Flemming Halsey; her father, Dwight E. Cavender; and her stepdad, William T. Halsey. She is survived by her loving husband of 11 years, Robert J. Calcaterra of Crest Hill, IL; two stepdaughters, Katherine (Lt. Daniel) Rendleman of Clarksville, TN and Megan (Matt) Hanna of Lane Cove West, Sydney, Australia; two step-grandchildren, Charolette Grace and Henry Joseph; Uncle John Fleming of Princeton, WV; Aunt Joyce Halsey Maher of Palos Heights, IL; brother Darrell (Cindy) Halsey of Posen, IL; niece, Tracy Halsey of Joliet, IL; nephew, Jearmie (Lisa) Halsey and Abbie of Joliet, IL; brother-in-law, Frank (Janet) Calcaterra and Niki and Katie, all of North Bay, Ontatio, Canada; sister-in-law, Rena Absher of Herrin, IL; first cousins, Holley Fleming Gilpin (Adam) and son, Ryan of Cambridge, Maryland; Kristi Fleming Frum (Stephan) and sons Pacey and Kolby of Point Pleasant, WV; along with very close friends Leona Abshire and Ronald Jewell of Princeton, WV and Doris Kaysen of Ft. Myers Beach, FL; other cousins and hundreds of good friends all over. Funeral Services for Tara K. Calcaterra will be Friday, January 25, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. As it was Tara's request, Cremation Rites have been accorded. Her final interment will be in Princeton, WV with services to be held prior to at the Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton, WV.
