Obituary of Edward Karnas

Edward F. Karnas, Jr. Age 53, of Braidwood, passed away suddenly Saturday, January 19, 2013 while doing what he loved. He had a tragic accident while ice fishing. A graduate of Joliet East High School Class of 1977. Employed for over 30 years at Exxon Mobil in the maintenance department. Ed's favorite loves in life were spending time with family and friends, fishing and hockey. Survived by his two sons, Matthew (Carri) Karnas and Kyle Karnas; one daughter, Jenna Karnas; and one grandson, Bryce Karnas; many friends also survive. Funeral Services for Edward F. Karnas, Jr. will be Friday, January 25, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Cremation Rites will be accorded following the funeral Mass.
