Obituary of Gladys McGrath

Gladys M. McGrath (nee Miller) Age 101. Peacefully, Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Fairview Care Center, with her family by her side. Born in Joliet, she was a long time Joliet area resident. A long time member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur T. McGrath (1976); two grandsons, Johnny Pena and Paul McGrath; her parents, Frank and Elizabeth (nee Wilhelmi) Miller; one brother, Francis "Bing" Miller; five sisters, Ceicel (John) Kinsella, Mildred Miller, Marguerite (Bernard) Ruettiger, Isabelle ("Bud") Nickel and Doris Miller. Survived by one son, Raymond (Ruthann) McGrath of Carmel, IN; two daughters, Joyce (Robert) Gleason of Joliet and Joan (Paul) Pocius of Yorkville, IL; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one brother, Raymond (Lois) Miller and one sister, Marijane (late Bernard) Riffel. Funeral Services for Gladys M. McGrath will be Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to St. Patrick Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
