I've always had a hard time, when it comes to saying goodbye...
For as long as I can remember, tears always fill my eyes...
It's not easy when the ones we love, must leave us for awhile...
So I'll cling to the memories that we shared, I'll think of your and smile...
Your playful laugh, I remember well, the wonderful meals you prepared
Your joy at beating me in the marble game, just some of the sweet times we shared...
Through the distance you reached out to me, often sending wonderful letters
And when times were difficult you always listened, doing your best to make things better...
Aunt Mary I will hold you close in my heart, And you would tell me, "there's no need to cry" You are with family and friends who have gone on before us, And I will see you again in time....
