Obituary of Betty Vanover

Vanover, Betty L. (nee Wachsmuth) Age 69, of Lockport, passed away Friday, February 15, 2013 at Lemont Care Center following a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. Born February 21, 1943 in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Leo A. and Elsie (nee Daenicke) Wachsmuth. She worked at Folger Adams in Lemont for many years until her retirement when the company relocated to Texas. Preceded in death by her husband, Carl D. Vanover (1997); one brother, Leo Wachsmuth. Surviving are her two devoted children, Paul B. Vanover of Lockport and Teresa Hakey-Parmely of Dwight, IL; three grandchildren, Skylar, Isabel and Mekhi; two sisters, Audrey Dobrino of OH and Joann Thomas of KY; and numerous nieces and nephews.
